Jake and Jaxens father son campout was rained out so we took Jaxen out for a fun day! We went bowling went to walmart and bought some treats and rented the justin bieber movie...me and jaxen love justin bieber. After that we went to eat at one of our favorite places, mooyahs! Once we got home we had to set up jaxens toy story tent in the front room and turned on the movie and ate our treats! half way through the movie we noticed the whole outside was orange and there was a giant rainbow so jaxen had to call everyone!

This was so funny, we looked outside and everything was orange and there was a giant rainbow and Jaxen had to go outside and call everyone he knew, i love how he put on jakes flip flops.

We went to Hawaiian Falls with 2 of my sisters and their kids, the kids had a blast! This was memorial day and afterwards went to my moms house for homeade banana nut ice cream a riggs family favorite....its the best!

This is my Birthday dinner at BABES! Its one of my favorite Restaurants! I love homecooked southern food, Fried chicken biscuits gravy mashed potatoes creamed corn....the works! haha

Our Family

This is the whole family(except for jake and eric...working) at El Fenix! One of my new favorite mexican restaurants! My Dad got us all tickets to go to see the broadway show..billy elliot (its his favorite show my parents have seen it about 20 times, they go to new york a few times a year and see it a few times each time they are there haha!) We saw it when we went to new york back in January, its just as good the 2nd time i love it! the dancing is unbelievable! Thank you to my neice rylee(addison and Baylee too) for watching Jaxen, so i could go!

Owen came over to play...these two were hillarious, they played batman all day long. i went into my room and they had stripped into their underwear and said they needed to go swimming, so i let them run in the freezing sprinklers!

Partners in crime...corbyn came to play and it got really quiet and all the sudden i hear Jaxen say corbyn go scare my mom....i cant because she will get mad at me (inside im dying laughing) so i went to find them and they were hiding underneath the table coloring all over their bodies with markers... and Jaxen somehow managed to find a permanent marker and color all over emmy(his dog)

Jaxen is great at swimming now its so nice because you can just sit and watch now...hes fearless, does all sorts of tricks of the ledge and can swim from one side of the pool to the other(the long ways) i love that i dont have to worry about drowning haha!

This was last night, we had a big day yesterday...Jaxen had a soccer game then we went to mooyahs with Grampa, then he went to Gramas house so theycould swim..(way to cold for me) and he swam for 5 hours! Then we went to Golden Coral with Tyson and Amy(Jake and Tyson were dying to go....Ive never seen Jake so happy haha) and then we took Jaxen to the park for a bit and came home and he passed out with Emmy. too cute

This was the last 10 minutes of General Conference, I was cuddling with Jaxen but had to get up and take a picture one because it was soo cute and two because i had to document Jaxen actually taking a nap, its been like two years since Jaxen has fallen asleep during the day. it didnt last long though i woke him up shortly after because it was 5pm and wanted him to go to sleep at 7pm

this was so hillarious! The kids all did awesome. They won their first game, Owen scored twice and Jaxen scored once. Jaxen was so excited after he scored his goal he just ran back to us with a huge grin and said i get to go to mcdonalds!

Living room! I HATE the standard carpet but unfortunately they said we didnt have enough time to change it out:( I wanted frieze carpet like what we have now. at least it can be fixed

They put the glass doors up on the shower! Im so bummed the shower is white tile, we came in on the house too late to change it....its okay though it can be fixed later!

they got the landscaping in last week. I love it. I had them change to brown mulch bc red was standard and i didnt like it, i also had them make the flower beds smaller bc there would have only been a tiny bit of grass....they still havent stained the columns or the front door yet.

I took the boys for a picnic at the park and corbyn was trying to do all these things with his fingers and it just so happend he was doing that when i got the picture.....he is definitely tysons son, thats for sure! haha!

This was when we had that week of major snow all the kids went tubing down the hills, it was a blast the kids were in heaven.

This is only the best burger and fries youll ever eat in your life... MOOYAHS !! This is one of our favorite places to go, even the boss mentioned how often we come there (thats pretty sad) haha. Its Jaxen and my dads favorite place to go together!

Well havent blogged about us in a while our lives have been so consumed with selling the house and getting the other one. Today, was so fun it was just me and jaxen all day (jake had to work early) first we walked to the dollar store and got some candy for the movie, then we walked to the library and read books for a while and today they were doing a movie day at the library so we got to see how to train your dragon, then we walked to mcdonalds(yuck but jax insisted he loves to play there) to play on the playground and walked to target and walked home, we were gone for like 6 hours it was so nice to be outside and having fun. i love spending time with Jaxen his so cute and says the funniest things. the other day we were at on the border with my family and jaxen was sitting with my dad and my dad says jaxen your shoes are so cool can you buy me some...and he goes "sorry grampa im saving all my money for my mission" haha hes getting so big i cant believe hes going to be 4 this year. He loves going to the park, playing with his cousins, loves his puppy, emmy, hes so rough with her but they are best buds. He loves his dad for sure they always have fun together. He always talks about his baby brother/sister thats up in heaven and wants them to come down here to be with him, it breaks my heart every time he says stuff about it, he wants a brother or sister so bad. Hes the most spoiled kid ever he gets so much attention its ridiculous! We love him soooo much! These are just random pictures i took on my phone(i havent been good about taking pictures lately)

It may look gross but its the most heavenly Philly cheese steak on homeade french bread youll ever eat! (i showed my brother the picture and he told me it looked like a pile of sh** on a plate haha)

Heres more pictures of the house, My camera was taking really weird pictures because for some reason i put it in the refrigerator(dont ask...i must be losing it haha) so it kept foggin up because it was freezing cold! Im so excited for when i can repaint and decorate! (I say repaint because i dont like white trim and the color of the walls is okay but i have something else in mind..especially for all the bedrooms and media room)(jake wants the media room painted black or something super dark...well see) i cant wait to see this place all cleaned up and finished

The outside they finished the stone and brick and painting, they just need to do the lights, stain the columns, put in our landscaping etc.

my camera shut off during this picture it looks really wierd but this is the upstairs game room, the open door is where the theater room is, and that lil hallway is another bedroom and bathroom that where jake wants to have the guest room.

These are just some pictures i took with my phone last weekend of the house. We love it soo much its our dream house! We just need to sell the the house we are in and we are good to go!

Weekend with The Robins

Kristin dusty allie aubrie and avie came into town for about 6 days, we had soooo much fun. It was nice to see them and just hang out. jake was able to take off work so we were able to do lots of fun stuff! this is jaxen allie and aubrie in the bath on the first night they came in!

They loved the four wheelers!

Thank you grama mccuistion for the cupcakes, We made them with jaxen and allie. it was funny because before we made them jake and dusty said oh we dont want any dont worry about it... next thing you know they both ate 3 each and dusty woke up the next morning and said if you think i didnt eat 2 cupcakes for breakfast you're wrong.. haha and then he ate two more for lunch! needless to say they got eaten!

Are you kidding me?how cute are these pictures! i cant even stand it. This is when we went to the fortworth stockyards, its a lil cowboy town! we ate at risckys bbq for lunch jake and dusty got all you can eat ribs for only 10 bucks and kristin and i got brisket sandwiches! HEAVEN! i love me some barbeque! we just walked around, the kids loved the old fashioned candy store you walk in and its just barrels and barrels of all sorts of candy.

I honestly dont think the kids cared much though. the robins left the next day and we were definitely sad to see them go, but we are already planning their next trip out here next summer!

Selling the House

We are selling our house for 105,000 its in allen, very cute place, we love it! its on a quarter acre...so nice and big. very safe neighborhood, and friendly neighbors! some new things weve done to it... New carpet, Paint, Garage door and opener, Siding, outside Paint, new AC condenser unit, new Furnace, newly insulated attic, etc. Tell Everyone :)

It was our first snow day yesterday, when Jaxen saw it snowing he goes... Oh my gosh this snow makes me so excited. these pictures are the beginning of the snow but we ended up getting 4-6 inches i think! the snow flakes were huge and beautiful!

He kept trying to throw snow balls at me and jake and they kept getting stuck to his gloves it was funny

For christmas my dad took us all to the salon to get our hair done it was so fun, we were there for like 7 hours i think! i loved every second of it, its so fun getting pampered! Im so annoyed how butt white i am though, i said that to my hair dresser and he was like just go to my palm beach tan across the street i have a 140 bucks you can use! haha! hes so nice but i turned it down! i wish i could fake bake again but then i see old people that have done it alot and their skin is leathery and i definitely dont want that! Im soooo mad we forgot to take a group picture afterwards so i guess youll never know how all the hair cuts turned out!

another update

As most of you know Jake and I have been trying to have another baby for just about 3 years now. Back in October we decided to make a decision... do we keep trying and do invitro fertilization? or do we start the adoption process? If anyone has struggled to get pregnant then you know it is a huge emotional rollercoaster. especially with all the pills and testing holy cow it is not fun, haha. After lots of talking, thinking, and praying we decided to start the adoption process (HOORAY!) they say to put yourself out there and let people know you are adopting so hopefully it will shorten your waiting time of finding your baby. We are so excited and cant wait for the next addition to our family! I feel so silly being like hey if you know someone thats putting their baby up for adoption tell them about us .... or seeing someone and saying hey can i have your baby! hahaha obviously you dont say it like that but it just sounds silly! anyways if anyone hears of a girl looking to place their baby with a family just keep us in mind!

After the short program was over we went home and opened jammies, set out cookies for santa, talked about Jesus and read a story! then it was off to bed for Jaxen he was super excited because we let him sleep in our bed that night so he didnt wake up and run into the living room before us!

Jake had to work christmas day and it was our year to be in utah.. so jakes parents flew us out two weeks before christmas and we had a blast. there was something planned for every night we were there and we got completely spoiled. it was so nice to see everyone it felt like it had been forever since we had seen them and we had never met our two nephews, parker and brady. all those new babies were so cute and so good they never cried! sorry there arent more pictures but most of them are on my camera still. im so ticked off because my most favorite pictures of sledding at soldier somehow got deleted off my computer.

I got Jake these BYU tickets for his birthday with the help of Jakes dad they got front row seats! Jake was in heaven!! It was at the new cowboys stadium which they say is just amazing!

Mandy and Matt came into town for the byu game so we went to lunch down in dallas at campisis,(the best italian pizza ever) then did a lil shopping in highland park at GRI and as we were on our way home they said STOP... we have to go to Sprinkles and get Jaxen a cupcake. they spoil him to death. PS. Sprinkles has the best cupcakes!!

we went on a date with my parents to the villages at allen, they have this play area for kids with a maze. On saturday nights they have live entertainment (which was actually really good they sounded like the fray) then we ate at mooyah burger for dinner. It was very tastey and a very fun night.

Hello! It has been forever since i have blogged. Sorry im not posting pictures, this computer is just taking way too long.
So heres our update of the last two and half weeks. August 14th Jake graduated UVU with his bachelors... yay we are so proud of you! Jake was suprised with a new ipod and a GPS. He was very excited! Jakes plans are to go to medical school next year, he wants to be a surgeon.
On August 17th we started our (moving) Journey to Texas. We packed everything up in a uhaul and headed out it took us 26 hours and I was driving our car with Jaxen. Jaxen did so good... he never really cried he just snacked, watched barney and mickey mouse, and we would sing songs for hours. We are currently living with my parents until Jake has been working for a few months so we can save to get our own place!! YAY! (its been a year since weve had our place) Jake plans to take the MCAT again in January and apply for med school beginning of may. Until then me and Jaxen will be hanging out and Jake is going to work for the hospital.

4th of july fireworks! we were with jakes family, it was fun we had a neighborhood barbeque and afterwards everyone brings fireworks and you do them in the church parking lot!

not that anyone really cares but we finally got rid of Jaxens binki, i had been procrastinating because i thought it would be miserable, so I cut the tip off and told him it was broken. He didnt even care hes slept great since we got rid of it! haha I never would have thought!

Jaxen has been doing great with potty training he loves his underwear and doesnt like to take it off, he has little boxer briefs and they are the cutest things ever. he had one accident today right after dinner because i didnt get him to the bathroom fast enough! Im so proud of him!

This was our family trip to Newport beach with Jakes Family. We had so much fun, the kids loved playing in the sand and running into the ocean(and running away from it) I took around 300 pictures so i tried to just put in the cuter ones so sorry there are just a ton of pictures! This weekend was so much fun! we went and stayed with our friends chris and hayley for a few days! Its been really fun hanging out with them lately they are so good with Jaxen and love playing with him! On Friday we went to the zoo, Jaxen just couldnt get over those animals he just had to run everywhere. I think his favorite was the baby orangutang, the baby was putting on this huge show just swinging all over the place, jax was so excited about it! after the zoo we just hung out the rest of the weekend! Jake, Chris, and Jaxen loved the XBOX! Jaxen would just sit on the couch with the remote and played most the time the guys would play! Jaxen also loved their long boards hed just sit on them and ride around!

Wow its been a long time. The pictures I posted were just of few of december. I would have been here all day if I posted christmas pictures! We went to texas for 9 days and had a blast for christmas. Since then Jake has started up school again 21 credits plus an MCAT class at nights. plus he has 3 callings in our ward one of which is young mens. and Thursdays he does ward Basketball. So no, me and Jaxen never see Jake unless its a friday and some saturdays(his mcat class is some saturdays). As for me and Jaxen we just hang out at the house all day and I watch Allie (my niece) twice a week. Jaxen has been so funny lately hes starting to get pretty good at talking. Hes a kid who definitely knows what he wants. He loves to swim in Jakes parents spa, and the bath tub, he loves playing with balls and his t ball set. He gets really excited when his cousins come over to play he just yells their name as loud as he can and starts dancing around. He loves when music is on so he can dance around. Im so excited for when Jaxen can have a brother or sister to play with (we've been trying for a year in February) I think he gets tired of playing with me all the time. haha.

One of Jaxens favorite things to do is play the WII with Jake. He sits right next to jake and stares at the TV waving the wii remote. Whenever we go downtstairs he goes straight to the playroom, turns the tv on, grabs the wii controller and waves it at the tv. Its the funniest thing Ive ever seen. I have no clue how he learned to turn the tv on but he gets really excited when he does it
Jaxen loves to brush his teeth! When we are upstairs he walks straight in the bathroom opens the top drawer, grabs his toothbrush and his toothpaste(he uses a kids kind he can swallow) and even though the lid is on he tries to put the toothpaste on the toothbrush (even though he cant) and sticks his toothbrush in his mouth to brush his teeth.
Its been really fun to see how fast jaxen catches on to things. he gets really excited when you talk to him about certain things, like "do you wanna go for a scooter ride?" or play with the WII, or brush your teeth, or anything about Dogs. The other day i was tickling his hand and i said jaxen tickle mommies hand and he did it right away.
He does well with sign language, he knows grama, grampa, please, thank you, food, more, and blow kisses. and when you ask him for a hug he lays his head on you. hes so sweet.

Ok, thats enough for now its 1130pm and im tired!

This is Jaxens birthday weekend! My mom and dad flew into town for the week and we did a party on saturday for him at adams house. Then we had a party on tuesday 14th (his real birthday) His theme was sports so i made him a football cake and made sweet chili which i put in a football crockpot, and made football sandwiches(mom helped with the saturday food) he got very spoiled by everyone. It was lots of fun, Jaxen just has the funniest personality!

This was our trip to Panama city beach Florida! There was 21 of us, we stayed in a beach house right on the beach it was tons of fun! Tyson was the only one unable to go but it was nice to have everyone together we havent been on a family vacation all together since Rylee was born!

We moved from eagle mountain to orem (we live with jakes parents) until Jake gets into medical school which we should find out where in the fall of 2009! YAY! We went to the American Idol concert (p.s. one of the best ive been to) then i suprised Jake with a hotel and I got work off for him the next day (he was very excited about that) that morning we ate breakfast in our room, Hiked to the Timp Cave, went and saw Get Smart, went to dinner, and came home to Jaxen! It was all a suprise to Jake! We had a blast but we missed Jaxen sooooo much! Thanks to Kristin for watching him all night!

Jaxen is now 4 months he went and got his shots and now weighs 21 pounds (99 percentile) and 27 1/4 inches long (97th Percentile)! This was a fun weekend, My mom and Dad flew in for the Blessing so we got hang out with them, Adam and Steph, and my cousin mandy. Jake did such a good job blessing Jaxen, after sacrament meeting we went back to our house and had cinnamon rolls and egg casseroles. Yum!

This Christmas we were at Jakes Familys house! On Christmas eve we started out the day with a big breakfast and hung out around the house for awhile til we went to see National Treasure 2! Jaxen did so well he loved watching that big screen! When we came back we opened our pajamas and took some family pictures, then ate french bread turkey sandwiches! after we put Jaxen to bed we played a few games of dominoes and watched a few episodes of friends then went to sleep! We woke up and went up stairs to open presents! We got tons of movies and games (thats all we like to do especially in the winter)! My best gift from jake was... He re-set my grama Davis' yellow diamond, its gorgeous! For breakfast we had waffles with apples and cream(Jakes Favorite) then watched the cleanflix version of bad boys 2! We jus hung out at the house all day, for dinner we had prime rib and pasta! Then we went home! that weekend we watched the oceans 11 trilogy! for new years Me and jake played games from 830 to 11pm then went to bed (sorry staying up til midnight to watch my clock turn from 11;59 to 12 jus doesnt excite me anymore :) thats about it for our holidays!

I went into labor on friday October 12 at 11pm and didnt have him till Sunday October 14 at 2am! 17 hours of natural labor was horrible, I finally got an epidural..... 10 hours later it wore off, so i felt everything from pushing him out to all the stictches afterwards! Anyways hes here now and so much fun! He was 8 pounds 6 ounces and 20 inches long! Jaxen has the biggest hands and feet its unreal....definitly takes after his Grandpa McCuistion! He was never able to fit into his little ugg boots or the other boots his grandma Riggs bought him! I was so sad! We got to take him home the next day on monday the 15th! What a relief I hate hospitals! Ill be posting more pictures my internet doesnt work very well so as of right now this is all i can post!

Hello Everyone!

Jake and I are counting down the days til the new addition to our family is here, Jaxen Jacob... October 13! Everything is going well with the pregnancy except the fact that im sitting here doing a 3 hour glucose test at the doctors office! yuck! We'll know on monday if i have gestational diabetes or not! Im not too worried about it! Jaxen is a very hyper active little boy, he loves moving around and kicking! We are so curious to see what hes like when he comes! I am currently working for Jakes dad running errands for a few hours a day down in orem until Jaxen comes... then i get to stay at home and take care of him, im so excited! Jake works for Diamond Peak Construction, He is the supervisor over the willow springs condos they are building in eagle mountain! He works very hard and is constantly busy! Jake will start back to UVSC in the fall, we are hoping he'll graduate by next summer! Then he will apply to medical schools and we will be moving the summer of 2008!
